Kenneth I. Trujillo

Ken has served as the City Solicitor of Philadelphia, as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, and as a Commissioner of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. In November 2008, Trujillo was appointed to then President-Elect Barack Obama’s Presidential Transition Team.

Trujillo is a former Chair of the Board of Directors of Congreso de Latinos Unidos, and former Chair of the Board of the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Health Partners, serves on the Boards of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, and the National Council of La Raza. He has been a Commissioner of the Delaware River Port Authority.

Trujillo opened a Spanish-language Radio Station in Philadelphia, El Zol 1340 AM, and a local station of Azteca TV. He launched, a website for Spanish-language news in the Delaware Valley.

He is a partner at, Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP. Trujillo has a Law degree from Penn. He was the first Latino to launch a candidacy for Mayor of Philadelphia, in 2014.
