Lt. Evelyn Cintron

Commander, Police Athletic League

As the Commanding Officer of PAL, she is responsible for the development of youth programming for more than 18,000 Philadelphia youth at 18 PAL Centers throughout the city’s highest crime and lowest income neighborhoods. After beginning her career in the Philadelphia Prison System, Lt. Cintron joined the Philadelphia Police Department, where she has served for the past 18 years, starting as a patrol officer, then promoted to Police Corporal, Police Sergeant and now Police Lieutenant. Most recently she served as the Administrative Lieutenant in the 25th Police District where she supervised more than 200 officers, coordinated the East Division’s Police Explorers program, and represented the Department on a host of community and advisory boards.
